Today we’d like to introduce you to Jermaine Moore.

Hi Jermaine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers? My name is Jermaine Edward Moore but call me JEM; I am a visual artist from Detroit’s eastside. I initially picked a camera back in 2017 during my undergrad at Eastern Michigan University for an advertising class project. During that project, I realized my talents were best behind the camera. The process of planning, coordinating, and executing concepts has kept me thrilled to work on new projects!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome? It has not always been a smooth road. I think just like any other creative, whether a writer, musician, painter, etc. There come moments of creative block, or lack of inspiration, and honestly, just life. I’ve had my experience in all three. I think that the struggles you endure directly translate into your art. There have been many bad moments that have led me to produce great work. I would have taken the road less traveled every time.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about JEM Productions? My production company caters mainly to the Metro Detroit area. I offer photography, videography, and content strategy services. What sets my company apart is the passion; I believe in your vision as you do! I approach each project in the client’s best interest to achieve desired outcomes.

How do you define success? Success looks like living a comfortable lifestyle doing what I love to do—at the same time, being able to give back to the city of Detroit.
